Pearl Munonde

Pearl Munonde is the Council Administrator for the South African Screen Federation (SASFED), bringing over two decades of television and film production experience to the federation. Having previously served as a SASFED Council Member and Co-Chair, she possesses a deep understanding of the governance and administrative needs of the South African audiovisual sector.
A dedicated advocate for the industry, Pearl holds prominent leadership positions across the sector, including serving as Chairperson of SWIFT and holding executive board roles with the DFA, DFMI, and the SOS Coalition. Her extensive industry background is supported by formal qualifications in Business Administration, Records and Archive Management, and ongoing studies towards a BCom Law, making her uniquely equipped to manage SASFED’s operational administration and council coordination.
