The IDAA (Independent Directors Association Africa) implements policies and programs for transformation, equality, economic, cultural, and educational development and growth of film and TV directors, directors of photography (DoPs) and below the line crew members in South Africa and Africa.

- We advocate for change, transformation, equality, human dignity and fair treatment regardless of gender or race for every crew member and the creative rights of our directors and DOPs as priority.
